When you sign up to volunteer with the Temple of the Moon, we may collect the following information:

- Mobile phone number
- Email address
- General availability and volunteer role preferences
We collect this information directly from you when you register as a volunteer or sign up to receive SMS communications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to coordinate volunteer activities for the Temple of the Moon project, including:
- Sending SMS text message reminders about upcoming build days, work parties, and volunteer events
- Communicating important updates, schedule changes, or safety information related to the build
- Coordinating logistics and volunteer shift assignments
We will not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the Temple of the Moon volunteer program.
3. SMS Messaging Program
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS text messages from the Moonlight Collective related to Temple of the Moon volunteer activities. Message frequency will vary based on build schedule and project needs.
Standard message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier.
To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS communications. To opt back in, reply START or contact us directly.

4. Email Newsletter
In addition to SMS messages, we may send a periodic email newsletter to volunteers and supporters of the Temple of the Moon project. The newsletter may include:

5. Sharing of Information

- With trusted volunteers or coordinators within the Moonlight Collective who need access to communicate with you about build activities

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for the duration of your participation as a volunteer with the Temple of the Moon project. After the project concludes (following the burn on September 6, 2026), we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
